Sant Kumar founded IndoRelief after volunteering in Faridabad, India as a medical volunteer. He met many people living in the slums and volunteering their time. He spoke with medical providers and learned about the Indian healthcare system and the limited opportunities available to the poor. The most important discovery he made exploring this new area was the spirit of the Indian people. When he came back to the US, he wanted to continue helping. What started as an effort to raise money for one patient has turned into a global nonprofit organization dedicated to helping the underserved. This is due to the generosity of people all over the world and the hard work of our team. When Sant is not working, he may be found watching a detective show or running.
Dr. Prabhat Kumar has been a licensed physician for over 20 years. He has helped found a hospital dedicated to providing medical care to the underserved in northern India. He works closely with people living in slums as well as health professionals all over India. With the help of various organizations around the world, Dr. Prabhat has held numerous health camps in the slums. When he is not working, Dr. Prabhat may be found spending time with his twin sons and wife.
Christopher Chan co-founded Causes, a Facebook app that helped people raise money and awareness for their favorite nonprofits. Since then, he has continued his involvement in philanthropy by consulting for Wishbone, a crowdfunding platform that sends low income students to summer programs. Chris holds a BS and MS in Computer Science from Stanford University. Outside of work, Chris may be found rocking out as the drummer of "The Frail," an indie-alternative band from San Francisco, CA.

IndoRelief is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. While we serve those living in the slums of India, we also have a responsibility to our donors. We take this responsibility very seriously. We want our donors to know their donations are being used efficiently and appropriately. With this mind, we have created a transparency document that details all of our financial transactions. The document also includes our bank account balances for each month. We are completely run by volunteers. As a result, 100% of your donations go toward providing life-saving care. The three boys pictured above (left to right: Anil, Sumit, and Rajat) were former child laborers, who now live in our New Beginnings Clinic. We pledge to be as honest to them as to you. If you have any questions or require any clarification regarding our financial activity, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, and we will respond to you within 24 hours. Together, we can truly make a difference!
